How we do it
Flat and low-slope roofs do not work with shingles, water needs a membrane, not overlapping tabs. We install rubber (EPDM) and hot torch-on systems for the flat sections of homes, additions, and small commercial buildings.
EPDM and torch-on
EPDM rubber is a durable single-ply membrane that handles temperature swings well. Torch-on (modified bitumen) is a multi-layer system fused with heat for a tough, fully bonded surface. Which one fits depends on the roof, the slope, and the budget, we will walk you through it.
Why flat roofs leak
Almost always at the seams, the flashing, and the drainage. We detail those properly so water moves off the roof instead of pooling and finding its way in.
