Our roofing work in Saskatoon and area

A look at recent W Contracting roofs across Saskatoon and the surrounding area. Steep or flat, high or low, asphalt or metal, this is the crew for you.

Not stock photography. Six of the frames below still carry their original camera capture data, which places them on Saskatoon jobs in July and August 2024.

What these photos show

Every project photo above is asphalt shingle work, caught at different stages of the same kind of job: strip the old roof, inspect the decking, and shingle it back.

The finished roofs

Ridge caps run out to the end, new roof vents set in place, and new pipe boots and vent flashing. Two of the frames are hip roofs with the ridge run carried the full length of the hip. This is what a finished roof replacement looks like from up top, which is a view most homeowners never get.

The ones taken mid-job

Two frames were shot while the work was going on: the W Contracting truck on site while the house and garage roofs go on, and a crew member up at the ridge partway through a re-roof. If you want the hour-by-hour version of that day, our FAQ walks through it, from the dump trailer on the driveway to the ice and water shield along the eaves.

Valleys and flashing

One frame is two newly shingled roof planes with the valley running between them. If yours is failing rather than finished, that is a roof repair conversation, not a replacement one.

Where these jobs are

These are Saskatoon roofs. We do not publish the addresses, because they are people’s homes, but every photo above that still carries camera location data was shot inside Saskatoon city limits, in July and August 2024. Beyond the city, we quote any project within two hours of Saskatoon and complete a large portion of work in Martensville and Warman. See Saskatoon roofing, or the full list of service areas.
