Drake is 197 people in 91 occupied dwellings on 0.64 square kilometres, surrounded on every side by the crop and livestock farms of the Rural Municipality of Usborne No. 310. There is no shelter here at all.
The village also carries two working industrial buildings, Drake Meat Processors and Bergen Industries, both founded locally, and a commercial roof takes hail differently than an asphalt shingle roof does.
